Reverend Shannon, M.S. (Master of Sciences), is an ordained Interfaith-Interspiritual minister, author of Joy Alchemy®, and is co-founder and managing editor of the Light on Light E-publications and instrumental in the founding of Light on Light Press, and a Global Impact Network Leader. She also volunteers for the International Day of Yoga Committee at the United Nations. Shannon is a disciple of the Biblical Way of Jesus of Nazareth and apostle in Christ by the will of God called directly in 2009. She is a bringer of peace, harmony, healing, understanding, compassion, empathy, and warm support, inspirations, universal ideas, blessings, and wisdom from living truly free within Christ Jesus’ heritage.
The source of her teachings is the Way of love through the name Jesus as written in the Bible, and as confirmed in the Apocrypha and Gnostic scriptures, and in multitudes of writings by mystics and saints throughout history that results in inner peace and Joy. For Joy was Jesus’ purpose, goal, and destination in the writings of the Bible, the rooms in “His Father’s house” he was said to be preparing for all those who followed him in their way of beliefs.
This very same Joy continues beyond the boundaries of Christianity, and all other religions as Shannon discovered in her studies of where the world’s wisdom traditions and religions converge in unity with each other, within the “mystic heart,” as visioned by Brother Wayne Teasdale (and coined as “Interspirituality,” a fruit of the Interfaith movement and the first Parliament of the Worlds Religions in August 1993 in Chicago, where 200 members signed Towards a Global Ethic (An Initial Declaration).
And within the secular arena, even science through both Eastern and Western medicine agree: the supreme inner experience for well-being and the flourishing of life is happiness and JOY beyond suffering. (Just like Jesus in the Holy Bible taught.)
